Bonjour! The city of lights shone very bright with the looks sent out this season. Starting off with Valentino, words cannot explain how beautifully intricate the clothes are. Valentino took on an African sort of vibe with giraffes and other animals printed on their wonderful fabrics. Saint Laurent showed off what it does best: effortlessly cool clothes. And I mean very cool. Who would have thought to pair dainty slip dresses with sparkling tiaras?
Louis Vuitton showed us a futuristic side this season, and I liked it! The embellishments were exquisite and the shapes of the clothes were great as well. Lanvin remains each season classy yet so fun and energizing. The clothes always something every girl wants, and the flower ties around the neck were my favorite accessories. Dries Van Noten makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. The exuberant colors and the clash of fabrics makes me squeal with happiness. Karl Lagerfeld every season makes me so amazed at what he can do. The show held in a Chanel inspired airport? Let me book my flight! The clothes are so exciting and like nothing you will ever see. Truly a one of a kind. This season at Balenciaga was truly Alexander Wang’s best. The crisp whites on the silky fabrics were honestly breathtaking. I will miss Mr.Wang terribly. Anthony Vaccarello made me believe in the power of sex appeal. I am usually your go-to-girl for a turtleneck not a low cut top. But wow, I now see the light! And finally Alexander McQueen was pure romance. I was transported to another time. I long for the elegant details of each garment and wish I owned each one right.now. And that concludes my fashion week coverage. It was fun (very very much fun). See you next season, Paris! Au revoir!
